After the Bath

A quaint farmhouse is depicted, submerged deep within the woods. It’s doors are propped wide open; sun shining on them, the shadows of foliage cast upon the building’s white paint. To the left on the panel, an unattended wagon sits in the grass. To the right, a woman stands with her body towards the house, her head tilted downwards to her left. Next to her, crouching or sitting on the ground is a man. His head is turned upwards towards the woman, and the two are engaged in conversation. Adjacent to the two people is a pond. A flock of white fowl emerge in a singular line from the water, walking towards the open doors of the farmhouse: quite literally emerging after the bath.
